The pallet coffee table is robust and has character. The table is simple yet shabby chic with its distressed look. It features a top and bottom shelf made entirely from reclaimed pallet wood. Attach the original stringer of the pallet to the lengthy sides of the top and bottom shelf to give it a boxed look. Plank off the sides completely and give it a white coat. Distress the appearance and add rope handles to give a pirate ship semblance. Make your table practical by adding small casters so you can shift it around.
